Work Week 2010 is over, and the jobs got done, despite plenty of rainy and cool weather. Some of the finest work imaginable: Dave Lee cleaning drains without using dangerous chemicals; the Mauldin clan with help from Nicholas fully mouse-proofing the pump-house with 1/4 inch hardware cloth; newly painted men’s toilets/showers–thanks to Jason; and much more.

Work Week 2009 is in the can, and speaking for myself (and I hope everyone else as well), it was a great time! Lots of work was done, but also friendships renewed, Budweiser consumed, music played, “schwag” was handed out, and all the other things that keep bringing people back for this event. This year featured the world class organizational skills of new manager John Clegg, who was aided and abetted by Assistant Manager Jack Gregory. Roberto Dowse supplied fine cuisine with assistance from Robert (Barbeque Bob) Hyman, who also documented much of the activity with his ever-present Nikon. A modest (twenty-some) but mighty group of volunteers worked like they were possessed to get the ranch in shape for the season. Local Jackson video did a story on us. Any of the rest of you who have pictures are encouraged to post them on this site as well.
