Ranch Resources

Additional resources available to Ranch visitors

Many visitors to the Climbers’ Ranch fly to Jackson.  Fortunately,  the infrastructure is in place to make a car-free climbing trip to the Tetons quite feasible.

Ground Transportation

Information on traveling between the Climbers’ Ranch, town, and the Jackson Hole Airport can be found at http://www.jacksonholeairport.com/groundtransportation_shuttlestaxis.html

Alltrans Park Shuttle will take you between Jackson and several places in Grand Teton National Park and back.

Loaner Bicycles

In 2009 the National Park Service opened the first leg of a bikeway to facilitate bike travel within the park.  This leg runs from Moose to Jenny Lake, with more to come. Leveraging this proximity, visitors to the Ranch now have at their disposal a fleet of well-maintained loaner bicycles available for use at no cost.  This makes for an easy 5 mile ride from the Ranch to the facilities at Moose, including the Visitors’ Center, Post Office, groceries, Dornan’s Chuck Wagon and restaurant, Moosely Seconds (outdoor gear) and more.  Jenny Lake is also an easy ride.  Helmets and bike locks are also avialable.  What could be more convenient?

Plenty of bikes in all sizes
